I'm an interior designer whose calm demeanor and attention-to-detail instills confidence in clients. Over the course of 20 years, I honed my design skills at high-end residential and commercial interior design firms in Los Angeles, Long Beach and in the San Fernando Valley. I launched my own design studio, Shaping Spaces Group, in 2007, now Lotus Designs LLC specializing in kitchen and bath renovations. I believe that good design is not just for the well off, but for the everyday person.

My passion is to show clients that design is a recipe comprised of mixing classic and modern elements, using sustainable products whenever possible, layering luxurious fabrics, balancing color and texture…all while infusing a little of the unexpected. Lotus Designs tends to create timeless, inviting spaces with undeniable interest with our client’s needs and personality in the forefront.

I will not only share the ins and outs of being a designer or with you, but also answer your questions on building your brand, marketing yourself using social media and networking. I'll help you figure out if being an interior designer is right for you and how to get started if it is. I look forward to working with you!

I am a problem solver. I love the challenge of walking into a space with nothing more than an idea and turning that space into something that my clients have only dreamed of.

After ten years working as an in-house designer for a firm, I launched Shaping Spaces Group in 2007, Lotus Designsin 2016 and Brunchin' with the Experts in 2019 a small business networking group. I'm a certified CQRID Interior designer specializing in kitchen and bath renovations as well as relocation interiors. I bring with me my years of experience working with other designers and architects. We focus on building relationships with our clients getting to know their needs and functions of the spaces. We help convey their vision in a way that brings joy to their life.

My designs have been featured on HGTV.com and I was the design spokesperson for Kirkland's Home Decor for 2009-2010 and have been featured on KFWB (CBS) news talk radio show Home Wizards.

I will not only share the ins and outs of the being a designer with you, but also show you what it takes to build your brand, how to market yourself using social media and other forms of marketing. I’ll teach you about the importance of networking and building relationships. I’ll show you how to figure out what you’re worth and how to charge that.

The best part of my job is the expressions I see in my customers’ faces after seeing the space they always dreamed of, become a reality.
