Entirely Design/A Touch of Tradition
I run a four-person interior design studio based in California, but I have clients on the east and west coasts and do many on-line design projects.
I’ve been in business since 2000 and my design philosophy combines environmental consciousness with style, quality and luxury. I specialize in lighting, landscape and sustainable design.
I have won numerous awards and am honored to be the Director of Communications for American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), and my work and design tips have been featured in local and national media.
I look forward to working with you and answering any and all questions you may have about getting into the interior design business!
I consider myself a lifestyle advocate for my clients. By combining a touch of tradition with modern design elements, we create spaces that are enduring and sustainable. My goal is to create atmospheres that are inventive, vibrant, inviting, comfortable and that don't look decorated.
I adore problem-solving design dilemmas and resolving construction and installation issues. After years of research, I know where to find unusual materials, exquisite furnishings and specialized craftsmen perfectly suited for each project. I especially enjoy helping clients resolve issues that have plagued them for years.
I love how this work uses an interesting combination of left and right brain and I get to see the long-term results of combining creative design with problem-solving. This was ideal match since many of my clients are in the sciences and I understand how they think, how they live and what drives them at home and at work.
My personal philosophy is: Share, share, share. If you keep what you know under your hat, no-one benefits, including you.
I have an expertise in social media, and analyzing marketing efforts. I also teach design and design business principles and practices.
