Being a dental technologist is very rewarding for me. I enjoy doing what I do and teaching others who are interested in a career in this industry. There are so many opportunities offered through this profession, and I want to share those opportunities with others.
I have been in this business since 1979 and am the owner of Paradym Dental Arts. I have completed numerous implant and prosthetic courses and conduct courses in the U.S., Canada and Europe. I have written articles for several leading dental magazines including: Journal of Dental Technology, Dental Technologies (English), LMT and Inside Dental Technology. I have conducted webinars through Dental XP with Heraeus Kulzer where I am listed as an ‘Xpert’ and sit on the editorial board of Inside Dental Technology and the product review panel for Specturm Dialog Magazine.
Here’s a bit of what we can cover in our PivotPlanet session(s):
• How to excel in today’s challenging dental market.
• How to stand out and be recognized as the 'Go to Person' in the field.
• How to make yourself the leader in your country.
• How to add 'Value Added Services".
• How to look at other industries to gain insight on how you can improve your company or future company.
I have never changed careers because I love what I do.
My goal is to educate, equip and share knowledge with the dental community. I do this with the techniques and tools that were shared with me. Sharing is key to all of our forward progress. When we learn and share what we learn with others, we can all achieve our personal best.
I lecture, do hands-on training and advise. I am a recipient of the NADL’s Excellence in Education Award and a first place winner for the most esteemed American Prosthetic Society Presenter.
I have learned a lot over the years about self-worth. I have learned we are totally limited by our own perceptions of who we are and do not recognize our own value. I had to learn to value my abilities and want to help others appreciate theirs.
