Michael Davis

Michael "Mike" Davis has several decades of teaching and business experience in a variety of roles as a specialist, manager, general manager, director, VP, president, and owner. The primary focus of an eclectic career has been in successfully leading product/process development, program/project management in turn-around situations. Mike has a BA, MS, and CSS from acclaimed east coast universities. Since retiring in 2019, Mike is now focused on mentoring, coaching, and guiding others in their career development.

Mike Davis started his career as high school science teacher. After initiating a Master’s program at Northeastern University, he went on his first of nine turn-around opportunities running an environmental testing laboratory before taking on an assignment to create a training business for a large process control corporation. Having found success, Mike was awarded progressive responsibilities leading departments, projects, and process development, all while earning a CSS from Harvard University extension as well as being elected to his community’s City Council.

Looking for the next challenges and turn-arounds, Mike honed his management skills at several companies, including one he acquired, and flipped after making it profitable. The common theme among the variety of businesses (process control, gold refining, catalog sales, sensor technology, etc.) was the need for project or program management, product development, and process reform leading to profitability.
