I have owned and operated independent businesses for over 20 years, the last 8 as owner of a roasterie and then coffeehouse. I am involved in every aspect of coffee, from harvest to processing, importing, roasting, marketing and selling. Pure Bean has been named the Best Coffeehouse in South Dakota and the Best Roaster in South Dakota. I teach classes on coffee at our shop and have a highly trained staff that also trains and teaches, but I am, more than anything, a coach who loves nothing more than to see people empowered and successful in whatever they do. I also do a lot of charity work around the world, using my time and abilities to help others and weaving business opportunities in with life opportunities and social change.
