Branding Director, Entertainment Executive

Simmons Abramson Marketing

As an entertainment and branding executive, I’ve fulfilled my dream of working with some of the world’s most recognizable celebrities and brands - learning what pop culture means to business and vice versa from my experience on and off the red carpet.

In addition to living with perfect weather in Los Angeles and being able to travel the world, I get the opportunity to work with the CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, A-list celebrities, heads of state, major philanthropists and socialites.

My projects include branding, marketing, public relations, production, management, sponsorship, business development and event planning.

Since 2005, I’ve been a key member of Simmons Abramson Marketing, working closely with Gene Simmons (of KISS fame) and his business partner, Richard Abramson (producer of the Pee-Wee Herman franchise), to develop and market different business and entertainment/sport brands.

In my career, I helped launch the “I am Indy” campaign for the IndyCar Series and even hold a Guinness World Record for "Most Nationalities in an Online Chat." by organizing an online chat in 2011 with KISS…this isn’t work. It’s FUN!

Here’s just a bit of what we can cover in our PivotPlanet sessions:
• How to create the proper messaging for YOU and your clients
• How to deal with celebrities, ego, and Type-A personalities without losing your cool
• How to build rapport with people in 30 seconds
• How to develop strategic alliances and partnership that will help both your career and that of your clients
• And anything else you want to ask about the profession I love!

MORE

I never wanted a job where I’d be doing the same thing every day. Working in the entertainment industry, I’ve found a job where I’m able to be creative, hang out with fascinating people and work on interesting projects.

Some of the projects I’m particularly proud of include helping Ortsbo.com grow from 35 million users/month to more than 220 million unique users a month (Look them up…they translate on the web in real time in over 65+ different languages) and growing.

I helped develop and brand the “I am Indy” marketing campaign for the IndyCar Series and I helped bring Frank’s Energy Drink to market and onto the shelves of 7-Eleven stores.

I get a big kick out of working with celebrities and all the people that make them tick, which is why I’ve also produced webcasts that have reached over 160 countries worldwide. In fact, I produced a daily live program for Variety magazine from the Cannes Film Festival in addition to LIVE filmed exclusives with rock stars, major award shows and film festivals and A-list talent in film, music and sports.

My mentors have given me gems for success that I look forward to sharing with you and a work ethic to back it - if they can get up and do what they do in their 60s, then I have no excuses not to be able to do the same.

I believe in creating a brand for yourself…when you work hard and make it a point to get to know people in a positive way, your reputation will soon precede you. It’s powerful and humbling. Everyone you meet is someone from whom you can potentially learn – which is why I’ve gained so much knowledge and experience in various fields. I’ve become a hub and I want to teach you how to do the same; to create alliances with different companies, brands and people.

This is my passion. It’s what I love thinking about - “the next big thing.” I look forward to talking to you about creating YOUR next big thing.
