Our goal is to produce unique artesian craft distilled spirits using old-fashion techniques.
Downslope Distilling, Inc. was founded as a two-man partnership based on our common interests and passions for quality adult beverages. Our products are produced locally and include: Double Diamond Whiskey, Cane Vodka, Grain Vodka, White Rum, Vanilla Rum, Spiced Rum, Pepper Vodka, Special Gold Rum, Wine Barrel Aged Rum and Old Tom Gin. We are the only staff except for one part-time employee.

I enjoy the autonomy I have in my work and take pride in watching the faces of clients tasting our spirits and in the industry recognition Downslope Distilling has received. We are also proud of the fact that we are a profitable business after only three years in operation. My 20 years researching distillery operations and meeting with distillers before starting a Downslope Distilling have been invaluable to our success.

I received a degree in geology and worked in the oil, gas and mineral industries before starting Downslope Distilling. My interest in the making of distilled products grew out of years of home brewing efforts, as did my partners. We decided to work together to take our interest in producing spirits to the next level.
We combined years of knowledge on how spirits were made – production, technique, mashing, fermentation, etc. Our objective was to produce and sell the highest quality distilled spirits available, to do so locally, and to make our products available first to the local community. Our next step was to research how this could be done. Our energy turned to selecting an appropriate facility and suitable equipment and meeting extensive regulatory requirements to establish Centennials’ first craft distillery.
Our still is custom designed, the wash production is more artisanal than state of the art, and the space is limited. We believe that with the support of the many beverage enthusiasts we have met over the years, we have the means to delight with spirits of incredibly high quality.
